THE WEDDING DAY

LOCATION:
Clearwater Beach in the sand

PARKING:
Please park at the reception venue, Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Parking is $12 in the garage. Private trolleys will bring guests down to the beach leaving at 3:45pm and 4pm.

IN CASE OF RAIN:
In case of rain the reception venue will also be the location of the ceremony. You will receive a text on the day of the wedding in case plans changed due to rain.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Our ceremony will be a meaningful blend of the spiritual and the personal. We’ve chosen readings that reflect both scripture and secular wisdom, and we’ll be incorporating a handfasting ritual that combines the celtic tradition with the Italian La Legatura to symbolize our union. There will also be a moment of reflection to honor and remember loved ones who are with us in spirit. We hope it feels heartfelt, inclusive, and uniquely us.

MISC:
Water and hand fans will be provided at the beach. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We’ve hired an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing the way the wedding looks and we’re inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy how the wedding feels. We’re respectfully asking that everyone leave all cameras and phones off. Of course we will be happy to share our wedding photos with you afterward!

DRESS CODE:
Beach Smart Casual Men – Linen pants, chinos, button up shirts, guayaberas, linen collared shirt, dress pants, deck shoes or loafers. Be comfortable: Skip the jacket.

TIMELINE:
5:30 pm Trolleys depart to bring guests back to aquarium
6:00 pm Cocktail Hour and Dolphin Show
7:30 pm - Dinner -
DRINKS:
Drinks on Us... Until They’re Not We’ve stocked the bar and kicked things off with a generous tab, so grab a cocktail, toast, and celebrate! Once the tab runs dry (we’ll let the bartenders be the bearers of that news), the bar will switch to cash. So get your drink on early, hydrate often, and maybe don’t order that seventh cosmo just to test the limit.

CHANGE OF SHOES:
Feel free to change your kicks once we go back to the aquarium. Sneakers, heels, whatever will get you ready for the dance floor.

MUSIC:
Tampa Bay DJ Company will be spinning tunes until 11pm. They will not be accepting requests on the night of the ceremony so make sure you submit any music requests ahead of time! Expect a mix of classic wedding tunes and early 2000s pop with some reggaeton and salsa thrown in.
